How Piracetam Works
Piracetam has a very interesting method of
action, it affects both the acetycholine and glutamate system. Both of
these are heavily involved in memory, awareness and learning. Piracetam
has shown to increase the functioning of both of these systems and
increase brain glucose consumption effectiveness by over 25%. From user
reviews, many state that it wakes up the brain better than caffeine
with absolutely no jitters and a much better improvement in cognitive
function. Along with all of these many benefits piracetam has also been
shown to be very successfull in reducing brain damage and reducing
addiction rates in alcohol and amphetamine abusers.
My Experiences
My experiences with Piracetam have been nothing short of incredible, I was a sufferer of chronic depersonalization that was extremely resistant to treatments. Luckily after much a long time of searching for substances and being prescribed various medications; I discovered Piracetam, I found that the only thing that has helped my depersonalization and given me a strong motivation to continue where I left off before I had the disorder, it has been a great substance and I highly suggest it to anyone suffering from depersonalization or that just wants to increase brain function.
In order to have the best response from Piracetam it is typically useful to take an attack dose at first, which is a triple sized dose - I took about 2.4 grams. I take 800mg two times a day and the first day I was amazed with the mental clarity I experienced, it felt as if my brain was lifted out of the fog I hadn't realized it was in. Piracetam is the best substance I have taken and I don't think that I will ever go back.

This is one amazing supplement but you can't *or shouldn't* take it without first doing your homework. Piracetam should be taken with choline bitrate (or any source such as Letichen which is a natural way to get choline and choleterol burning). You see if your getting plenty of choline rich foods (eggs are one source- the yolk specifically) then you can take it alone- but if your not eating healthy at all your likely deficient- taking choline with this will avoid headaches but more importantly it will assist the piracetam by supplementing your brain with the precursor to acytlcholine (this is a neuraltransmitter that helps cells communicate faster).
I would have to agree with you on this. I first read about piracetam when I was reading an article at www.smartdrugsforthought.com/what-is-piracetam This was an informative page explaining the uses of piracetam and what it can do. Piracetam is something I use everyday now and I know it can benefit anyone who needs to improve cognitive functions and memory capabilities.

Smart drugs are a huge topic online and many use "stacks" that use Piracetam as the base. You know what- instead of writing a huge comment I'll build a hub- look for it if your interrested- I'm simply amazed how well this works- my first week I experienced very little effects- it's not a stimulant- it's a brain upgrader by balancing your chemicals- it could take a week to kick in simply due to variables from person to person being different- taken with choline you should take b5 as choline cannot convert into acytlcholine neurotransmitters without b5... My first experience was nice euphoria and a nice congnitive boost but it was the 7th day that it happened- I felt literally like that guy on "Limitless" to some degree and libido- holy chit- Great write up of the concept- my turn now :) hehe it's like a safe, effective, "high" mixed with your brain working again. I'm 36 and I felt 21 that day! I'm also going to build (just as a way to store my research for the moment) a site about all this stuff at (delete this if you wish I'm not selling anything) currently just a domain called http://balancedbrain.net/
