Effectively Promote Click2Sell Products With Hubpages

For those of you who don't know about click2sell, or are new to hubpages and affiliate marketing in general; click2sell is a powerful tool for making money online through promoting others products. Promoting others products via Click2Sell can be done through many methods such as posting reviews, social networking, Youtube, article sites such as Hubpages and Ezines. It took me a lot of effort and time to find out the most effective method (so far, as there is always more to learn) to promote Click2Sell with Hubpages and I would be more than happy to show you guys where I went wrong and how not to fall into the same pitfalls as I have.

At the very beginning of my endeavour to get sales with click2sell, I was way off and lost, not knowing how to promote products. I tried making hubs designed around the product, those got very low traffic and a decent click through rate but low sales in total. I tried about everything and I wound up coming up with a few guidelines that helped increase my click2sell sales dramatically and I hope you as much success with click2sell that I have!

The Do's

1. Reveal a problem or a need that the viewer has and subtly hint that the solution can be found within the link - DON'T PROVIDE A SOLUTION OUTSIDE OF YOUR LINK.
   
2. Speak as an authority on the subject you are talking about without spamming or being overly promotional - You know the boundaries, don't sound cheesy; The product pages often do that themselves :p.
3. Keep Hubs a Moderate size, too short and they will be less likely to click the link and if your hub is too long they will lose attention or they will see a related article that may fit them better. You want readers to be ENGAGED when they click the link. The best results with articles promoting click2sell products have been around 400-700 words long.
4. Organize Hubs so that they are pleasing to the eye, this falls in with number 2 and 3 - If your hub is sloppy they won't see you as an authority, and if your hub is formatted poorly (such as long blocks of text) they will be very likely to lose interest).
5. Make your writing emotionally and logically appealing, this helps to engage the reader in your article - don't let it be blatantly obvious you are trying to appeal to their emotion, it will set off a red flag. You can appeal to their logic until the cows come home with no consequences, as long as your logic is solid.
